New Zealand's Favourite Artists Exhibition
I am exhibiting a range of work, including some new monoprints, in the New Zealand's Favourite Artists exhibition which opened last night, Thursday 10 April, at Exhibitions Gallery (formerly Fishers) in Featherston St, Wellington.
The opening was positively 'buzzing' and was packed with people. The writer of the book, Denis Robinson, gave a great speech and introduced the artists that were present. This included Patterson Parkin, Emma Wright, Tim Wilson, Ian Hamlin and myself.
I received much favourable feedback on my work, including on my new life drawing monoprints and my Dendritic River Pattern monoprints. I was very uncertain about how the river prints would be received, but several people were intrigued enough to come and discuss them with me in depth!
